JAGUAR IS NAMED NUMBER ONE MANUFACTURER IN J.D. POWER SURVEY

Jaguar has been announced as the Number One manufacturer in the J.D. Power and Associates/What Car? 2012 UK Vehicle Ownership Satisfaction Study (VOSS).

The study was based on the evaluations of nearly 18,000 individuals in the UK after an average of two years ownership. Every aspect of vehicle ownership was rated from performance, design and comfort to quality, reliability, cost of ownership, economy and dealer service satisfaction. The resulting data allowed the study to be the most comprehensive of its kind.

As well as heading the rankings for manufacturers, Jaguar was also successful in the individual categories.  The XF gained 15 places within 12-months to claim the ‘Executive Car of the Year’ title.

The 2012 result marks the culmination of a steady rise in owner satisfaction, Jaguar having finished third in the 2011 survey.

Aston Martin launch new commuter car Cygnet

An ‘Evening of Excellence’ was held at the Grange Aston Martin showroom in Brentwood, to celebrate the launch of the cute new commuter car Cygnet.

Who stole the show? difficult to judge. The evening was of course in honour of Cygnet Aston Martins’ eco-friendly answer to urban living but she had her work cut out when the popular celebrity chef Jean Christophe Novelli turned up and gave a cooking demo for 80 guests.

Grange was also lucky enough to have Bang & Olufsen’s 103” plasma screen TV shipped in especially from Denmark for the Grange event. The huge TV with a 10,000 Watt surround sound system is the only one in the UK and was a fantastic crowd puller.

Grange Summer 2010 Spectacular Ride & Drive Events

Grange Brentwood, Welwyn & Exeter have just completed a series of Ride & Drive events at some of the most prestigious venues in the South of England.

Guests were able to immerse themselves in the beautiful, tranquil surroundings of Brocket Hall in Hertfordshire, Gerbestone Manor in Devon and Hylands House in Essex, whilst enjoying complimentary refreshments throughout the day.

The test drive experience included Aston Martins’ professional drivers who were able to pass on their knowledge and expertise and show the guests how to achieve optimum results from the fantastic line-up which included Aston Martins’ new 2011 model year DB9 and the recently launched Jaguar XJ together with the multi award winning Car of the Year, the Jaguar XF.

Grange completed over 300 test drives during the events and guests appreciated the opportunity to drive such a wide selection of models in relaxed and scenic surroundings.

Star of the show – The all new Aston Martin Rapide

The all new Rapide was the star of the show for the launch of the first four door sports car from Aston Martin at Grange Welwyn.

Over 70 guests had the opportunity to experience the car first hand with two demonstrators being used for test drives on the evening, as well as enjoying fine food and champagne.

The Aston Martin Rapide encapsulates the values of Aston Martin in a sporting saloon, a four-door sports car with unrivalled performance, extremely high levels of craftsmanship and exceptionally elegant design. The Rapide is a car to savour and share, a characterful, expressive sports grand-tourer that extends the Aston Martin experience to an entire family, a group of colleagues or other performance enthusiasts. As a special guest on the night, the race prepared Aston Martin Rapide, fresh from it’s first outings success at the Nürburgring 24-hour Race, where the Rapide recorded a hugely impressive podium finish in the SP8 class after running faultlessly throughout the 24-hours.

The evening concluded with entertainment from the singing waiters, who had kept guests thirsts at bay, before they amazed and thrilled the audience as they burst into the finest spectacular singing.
